Antigua Photography Club
On the first Thursday of every month, La Antigua’s most devoted photographers gather to share their work and learn more from each other as part of the Club Fotográfico de Antigua. The fledgling club has met just a handful of times but already boasts more than 15 members. Each month photographers bring two examples of their work that fall within pre-determined themes agreed upon at the prior meeting. The photographers will be meeting this Thursday, October 1st and will be presenting photographs of Flowers (color) and Shadows (black and white). Club founder Leonel “Nelo” Mijangos will also be leading a workshop. Members will learn about color masking: leaving certain parts in color in a black and white photo and vice versa.
