Casa Santo Domingo featured the urban photo art from Bill Ipsan Saturday night. The modern artist impressed one local Antigueño artista:

“His work is very urban, from the street. He seems inspired from things in the barrios… He seems look for the social, public and urban,” Geovany Flores said.

Flores spoke with Ipsan and said he left with the impression that the artist is “very sincere, very charismatic.”

ArteAntigua also caught up with the Cuba-native who currently resides in New York. Ipsan will be in Antigua for about another month. Look for a more formal interview with the accomplished artist here at ArteAntigua.com soon…
