The first couple months of posting here at ArteAntigua was an experiment. Is there a need for a project like this here in LAG? What we discovered is: ABSOLUTELY.
In just three weeks from being non-existent to becoming a daily online source of cultural and artistic events and activities in La Antigua, we managed to achieve 1,000 unique visitors. Our vision for the web portal is ever yet greater. We are not only hoping to delve deep into the heart of art and culture in LAG, but we are also aspiring to spark, support and eventually fund cultural projects that further enhance the unique community of La Antigua Guatemala.
As we have discovered that the project is more demanding (due to popularity) even from our first basic steps, we will take a break from posting in order to set up a system that more fully meets the needs of the site and its visitors.
